New Year – Clarifying your intentions for the year ahead

11th-13th January 2019

Wandering William, Ludlow, Shropshire

Following the cycles of nature, winter is a time for rest and introspection. We ask ourselves whether we are living from our hearts and true intentions. Through a deep connection with the natural rhythm of the breath we will move through flowing meditative yoga sequences into the stillness of meditation, creating the space for silence and reflection. An opportunity to turn inward and clarify on a deeper level what is truly meaningful in our lives and our deepest intentions for the year ahead.

All retreats include twin or triple accommodation, delicious and nutritious vegetarian meals and all yoga tuition. There is one single room with a double bed and en suite facilities for a supplement of 45 Pounds. This retreat is small and intimate with a maximum of 14 participants, so there will be plenty of opportunities for personal guidance from Jackie.

Wandering William is a magnificent, Grade II listed, timber-framed barn dating back to the 17th Century. It offers comfortable 4-star accommodation in cosy rooms, with beautiful living space and wood burning stoves. The property is set amidst the Shropshire Countryside, yet lies within a mile of the centre of the historic town of Ludlow.

Each weekend is unique and the format is open to change. You can attend as much or as little as you like:


  • 4 – 6pm arrival
  • 6pm Yoga posture class – to relax and unwind from your journey
  • 7pm Dinner
  • 8.30pm Introduction and guided meditation


  • 8am Morning Yoga and pranayama
  • 9.30am Breakfast
  • 10.30 – 12.00 Workshop on chosen theme of weekend
  • 1.00pm lunch
  • 2 – 4.30pm Relaxation time: naptime, reading by the fire, walk in the countryside
  • 4.30pm Gentle posture work and pranayama followed by guided deep relaxation
  • 6.30pm Dinner

  • 10.30-12.00 Workshop
