Service Description
Prana Shakti is the intelligent life force that permeates all living things. It enables the body to move and the mind to think and is the intelligence that coordinates our senses, enabling our dreams and desires to manifest in the world. By becoming more attentive to prana and enhancing and directing its flow through specific yoga practices, we can invigorate the body and mind and open the door to an expanded inner awareness. There are five movements or functions of prana known as the vayus, which govern different areas of the body and different physical and subtle activities. When they’re functioning harmoniously, they assure the health and vitality of the body and mind, allowing us to enjoy our unique talents and live life with meaning and purpose. This retreat day will be a mix of yoga philosophy and mindful flowing yoga woven through with practical breath, bandha and meditation practices.
